And our social expert is…
We’ve had another busy week here at Poptiq. We’re continuously making additions and changes to our websites, the client team is busy working on a cornucopia of new features and tweaks for the next version of the app, and the service team have rolled out some minor improvements in library management and relevancy to make the videos you receive with Poptiq more personal. While these are small, we do have some big things coming so watch out for the ‘Poptiq’ videos in your carousel with the announcements.
One of the big areas for us this past week was making improvements to how Poptiq works with the social networks MySpace and facebook. We actually have a social expert on staff who’s spent the last few months creating these applications and Poptiq’s social and sharing capability. At first glance you would think Ben is a regular guy, except you’d soon notice he’s super smart in all things binary. However, issue him a challenge or put him under some pressure and you will realize that he can code himself out of any situation thrown at him. I swear I saw a syntax error correct itself out of fear of The Wrath of Ben. Watching Ben code reminds me a bit like seeing that video of Jimi Hendrix playing Voodoo Child at Woodstock. Pure joy. Like Jimi was, Ben is truly a man of craft, character, and raw talent. Ben also has a soft side, for he is the protector of the resident Canadian geese. We’re so lucky to have him on our team. Stay tuned to hear more from Ben, especially when he jams with a bunch of new social networks and takes sharing videos to a whole new level.
Keep watching!
Dave.
